DTG machinery

Which DTG machinery is right for me?

Choosing which DTG machinery to purchase for your business takes time, patience and a lot of research. You need to decide which qualities are the most important to you, digital quality, place of manufacture, how long the printing company has been developing their technology, the size of the machines in question and output quantity. Any one of these points, as well as others, are going to come up in your considerations.

Some DTG machinery is huge and capable of printing garments on a very large scale with relatively good quality images. Other DTG machines are more suited to printing images on huge rolls of textile and may not be quite what you’re looking for if your object it to print, say, t-shirts. There are small DTG machines, which are appropriate for kiosk or home businesses as well as mid-sized machines that might fit in an office but not necessarily in a kiosk. There is also the consideration of the types and quality of inks the DTG machine can work with a compared to your goals for your business.

There are many other considerations when it comes to DTG machinery. Pretty much everything from how the printer head height is adjusted to what size limitation there are for what medium you’re working with. Before buying, be sure to ask for a demo of a full-sized print and time it. Keep in mind portability, what kind, if any warranty it comes with and what the process is for repair, should it need it.
